In pairs or groups of three, role-play a restaurant scene.



  • いらっしゃいませ。(Welcome!)
  • 何にしますか。(What would you like?)
  • かしこまりました。
    (=わかりました。Polite form meaning “Okay/Certainly/I understand.”)
  • しょうしょうおまちください。
    (=ちょっとまってください。Polite form meaning “Please wait a moment.”)
